Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers at the front counter with drop-off and pick-up of garments and household items
- Inspect and tag incoming garments, noting stains, damage, or special care instructions
- Process customer orders accurately using point-of-sale (POS) or order management software
- Communicate turnaround times, pricing, and special services to customers
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front counter and lobby area
- Operate cash register and process payments including cash, card, and digital transactions
Requirements:
- Prior customer service, retail, or front-facing experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail when handling and tagging garments
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude
- Experience in a dry cleaning or laundry environment is a plus but not required
