As we continue expanding across major national retailers and international markets, Glamnetic is looking for a strategic and analytical Retail Demand Planning Manager to support the growth of our retail business.
This role will play a critical part in helping scale retail profitably by driving accurate demand forecasting, optimizing assortments, and ensuring strong inventory management across our retail partners.
The Role
The Retail Merchandise Planning Manager will support the planning and forecasting of our retail business across key partners including mass, specialty beauty, and international distributors. This role will work cross-functionally with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and Product teams to ensure strong retail performance, successful launches, and healthy inventory levels.
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has experience working with large retail chains and retail POS data.
What You’ll Do
Retail Forecasting & Demand Planning
- Support retail demand forecasting across major retail partners including Walmart, Target, Ulta, Sephora, and international retailers.
- Build SKU-level forecasts using POS data, historical performance, and market trends.
- Partner with Sales and Supply Chain to align forecasts with production and inventory planning.
Retail Performance & Assortment Analysis
- Analyze retail sell-through, SKU productivity, and assortment performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve assortment productivity and support retail growth.
- Support account teams with data and insights for line reviews and retail planning discussions.
Inventory & Replenishment Planning
- Monitor retail inventory levels, weeks of supply, and in-stock performance.
- Help ensure appropriate inventory levels across retailers to avoid stockouts or excess inventory.
- Work with Supply Chain to support replenishment planning and allocation strategies.
Retail Launch Planning
- Support forecasting and planning for new product launches and retail expansions.
- Help develop initial buy forecasts and replenishment plans for new items.
Retail Data & Reporting
- Maintain reporting across retail partners including sales performance, inventory levels, and sell-through.
- Translate data into insights that support decision-making across the business.
What We’re Looking For
- 5–8 years of experience in retail planning, merchandise planning, or demand planning, ideally in beauty, cosmetics, or CPG.
- Experience working with large retail chains such as Walmart, Target, Ulta, Sephora, Walmart, or similar retailers.
- Familiarity with retail POS data, sell-through analysis, and inventory planning.
- Strong analytical and forecasting skills with advanced Excel proficiency.
- Experience with retailer portals such as Retail Link, ULTA MTT, Target Partners Online, or similar systems is a plus.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
