Job Goal:
Responsible for maintaining and improving grounds and performing light maintenance and repair on District facilities and equipment. Courier inter district mail.

Minimum Qualifications
- Hold a valid Oregon driver’s license.
- Ability to perform physical requirements of job which involves moving supplies, containers and equipment.
- Experience in basic grounds keeping practices and maintenance work preferred.
- Experience operating various types of equipment (including heavy equipment) preferred.
- Understand oral and written instructions.
- Ability to drive various types of vehicles in a safe manner.
- Knowledge of lawn care and field maintenance.
- Ability to establish and maintain harmonious relationships with students, staff, and general public.
- High school diploma or equivalent experience considered appropriate by the District.
Essential Functions:
- Assist in maintaining, mowing, trimming, weeding, raking and irrigating district grounds and bedding areas.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining athletic fields for contests to include mowing, irrigating and lining.
- Assist in maintaining a neat and clean appearance of parking and entry areas of district buildings.
- Assist in providing seasonal maintenance.
- Practice sound housekeeping, safety, fire and work related practices.
- Assist in maintaining District vehicles and equipment as prescribed.
- Assist in maintenance and construction work as required.
- Assist in installing, maintaining and repairing irrigation systems as required.
- Assist in maintaining and installing drainage systems as required.
- Work cooperatively with District personnel.
- Assist in maintaining preventative maintenance logs for district vehicles and grounds keeping equipment.
- Courier district mail.
- Perform other tasks as required.
Salary : $25 - $35
