About the Role:
The role of the Patient Account Insurance Representative (PAIR) is to manage patient financial accounts by collecting payments, promptly updating insurances, and communicating patient responsibilities to all assigned patients. This role requires strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills to ensure accurate billing and patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update all spreadsheets as required
- Collect outstanding balances and process payments as necessary.
- Maintain and update electronic patient records regarding outstanding balances, copay’s, deductibles, and coinsurances.
- Completing verification process to ensure accurate billing of claims
- Handle incoming telephone calls from patients; return calls and follow up as needed.
- Verify that patient records contain all necessary information for insurance reimbursement.
- Coordinate with billing staff, Patient Care Representatives regarding outstanding balances using YELLOW patients and billing issues.
- Communicating with patients about their bills and insurance coverage, verifying insurance details, and following up on patient account inquiries.
- Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1-year experience with administrative/clerical background
- Basic Excel/Google docs/sheets skills required
- Team player who can work in high paced environment
