- Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to ensure precise installation
- Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC/R equipment such as refrigerant lines, compressors, pumps, and controls
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues using tools like ohmmeters and welding equipment to diagnose electrical or mechanical faults
- Repair appliances related to HVAC systems including plumbing connections and refrigeration components
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes during installation and service activities
- Strong construction background with experience in mechanical systems installation
- Proven service technician experience in HVAC or refrigeration fields
- Ability to read detailed schematics and HVAC design plans accurately
- Knowledge of plumbing systems related to HVAC installations and maintenance
- Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems used in commercial applications
- Mechanical knowledge of HVAC components such as compressors, fans, ductwork, boilers, and pumps
- Field service experience with equipment repair across various settings including property maintenance
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools like ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting
- Welding skills for custom fabrication or repair tasks involving metal components
- Experience with appliance repair related to heating or cooling units
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for
