What are the responsibilities and job description for the Western North Dakota Heavy Lead Pipe Layer/Laborer position at Gladen Construction Inc?
Responsibilities
- Ability to understand plans and grade stakes to complete tasks per specification
- Train other in pipe laying and Grade Checking
- Guide excavator operator with Grade and Safety
- Operate a variety of equipment, vehicles and hand and power tools
- Able to pre-plan
Requirements
- Basic math skills
- Ability to check slopes and grades using lasers, levels, and GPS
- Able to locate existing utilities using vac trailer and shovels
- Ability to follow procedures and strong attention to detail
- Ability to make decisions and problem solve
- Accept responsibility for actions
- Time management
- Ability to work with a variety of personalities and individuals
- Communicate with Superintendent and co-workers
- Clean driver’s license
- Able to lift 75lbs
- Health card
- Be dependable and trustworthy
- Pass pre-employment drug test
