Job Title: Sales Assistant

Pay Scale: $24-$26, DOE

Founded in 1953, Glad-A-Way Gardens is the only breeder, grower, and shipper of gladiolus here in the U.S. Our unique process, together with the ideal soil and climate of our California growing region, allows us to provide both award-winning traditional colors and exciting new varietals. Everything is grown on-site from the bulbs to the cut flowers.
Job Summary
We are looking for an individual to assist one or more of our key sales representatives in entering orders and facilitating communication with clients as needed. We are looking for someone who is a team player, detail oriented, driven to succeed, has exceptional interpersonal skills and has passion for learning.
Essential Functions
· Print tickets, Customer Labels, Carrier Labels
· Able to perform all functions of Order Entry, UPC, BOL, Shipping, Invoices and interact with A/R for payment within Net Terms
· Enter box information’s into required trucking portals, prepare paperwork for drivers
· Print Shipping manifest, bills of landing
· At the end of the day, prepare paperwork ahead of time
· Update calling sheets as needed
· Responsible for consistent communication both written and verbal with customers
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma (or equivalent0, some college preferred
- Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook
- Ability to Multitask, Attention to detail, High level of accuracy
- Bilingual in English/Spanish (preferred but not necessary)
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
- Great Communication and Listening Skills
