Job Summary
Glacier Supply in Bigfork is hiring for a year-round assistant mechanic/installation technician to join our organization. As this is a growing company, you and your input are needed! Here you will be a valued part of the team and able to see first-hand daily your contributions to the company and the people it serves. Glacier Supply is a busy year-round operation and the local dealer for Yanmar tractors, mini-exes, and track loaders, ASV track loaders, Erskine and Virnig attachments, Ironbull trailers, SnowDogg plows, and SaltDogg spreaders.
It is anticipated that the employee will eventually become a full-time mechanic.
Responsibilities
- Complete builds and installs of snow plows and spreaders.
- Complete routine service and maintenance for Glacier Supply's rental equipment and vehicles.
- Complete routine service and warranty inspections for customer's equipment.
- Complete check-out and check-in lists for rental equipment.
- Complete all associated paperwork for builds, installs, service, and maintenance.
- Assemble tractor and track loader attachments.
- Keep a clean shop and workspace.
Requirements
- Willingness to learn.
- Known for quality work and follow-through.
- Basic mechanical knowledge.
- Can read basic schematics and follow installation instructions.
- Accountable.
- Excellent attendance.
- Ability to operation tractors, mini-excavators, and track loaders.
- Ability to drive a truck w/ a trailer up to 22' long.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
