Job Overview: As a Branch Manager at Glacier Supply Group, you will oversee daily operations at one of our key branch locations. This role is responsible for managing 1-2 Customer Service Representatives (CSR) and 1-3 warehouse and delivery staff. Your primary goal is to lead and manage the team effectively while ensuring accountability and optimal performance in all areas of operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the daily operations of the branch, ensuring efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
- Supervise, train, and evaluate the performance of CSR staff and warehouse/delivery personnel.
- Maintain a high level of customer service and manage customer relationships to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty.
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in stock handling and delivery operations.
- Resolve any customer issues or complaints promptly, maintaining a high standard of customer service.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to maintain branch operation standards.
- Monitor branch performance against targets and goals, implementing improvements as needed.
- Provide inside support to territory managers to enhance sales strategies and customer engagement.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment through clear communication and regular team meetings.
- Collaborate effectively with the territory manager to align branch and territory strategies, emphasizing the importance of teamwork in achieving company objectives.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations to provide a safe workplace for all employees.
Requirements
- Proven experience in branch management or a similar leadership role in a retail or distribution environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Competency in inventory management software and standard office applications.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma required; a degree in business management or a related field is preferred.
Salary : $80,000 - $110,000
