What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Pro Shop Assistant position at GLACIER MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATES LLC?
OVERVIEW:
Working under the supervision of the Director of Golf and Head Golf Professional, the seasonal Golf Shop Assistant will focus on providing exceptional customer service to Glacier Club members and guests. Primary functions will include but are not limited to answering phones using professional speak, answering questions about the operation and events at the club, selling merchandise, collecting fees, and helping to maintain a clean and organized Golf Shop. Glacier Club offers a rewarding and beautiful environment to work in during the 6-month golf season. This is a part-time position. ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
1. Must be outgoing and customer service oriented
2. Must greet guests promptly using name recognition
3. Works well in a team setting
4. Ability to use computer technology
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
2. Previous golf and/or retail experience is preferred
3. Effective communication and interpersonal skills
4. A friendly and energetic personality with a service focus
5. Availability to work flexible shifts
6. Able to meet and maintain physical requirements
7. Must be able to multi-task efficiently within a fast-paced and high stress environment
Salary : $16 - $18
