As a key part of our leadership team, the Front Desk Manager plays a critical role in shaping first impressions and driving guest satisfaction.
Position Summary
The Front Desk Manager is responsible for overseeing all front desk operations, leading and developing the guest services team, and ensuring a seamless and high-quality guest experience. This role combines hands-on service, team leadership, and operational strategy to support occupancy, revenue, and guest satisfaction goals.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
Supervise, train, and motivate front desk staff- Lead by example in delivering outstanding guest service
- Conduct performance reviews and ongoing coaching
Guest Experience
Ensure all guests receive a warm, efficient, and professional welcome- Resolve guest concerns quickly and effectively
- Maintain high review scores and service standards
- Oversee VIP arrivals and special requests
Operations
Manage daily front desk operations including check-in/out, reservations, and billing- Ensure accuracy in cash handling and reporting
- Maintain compliance with hotel policies and brand standards
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance for room readiness
Revenue & Performance
Support occupancy and ADR goals through:upselling rooms and amenities
- encouraging extended stays
Monitor daily arrivals, departures, and pacing- Collaborate with leadership on pricing and demand strategies
Qualifications
2 years of hotel front desk or supervisory experience (management preferred) But not required.- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with PMS systems
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
