Position Overview & Key Responsibilities:
As a Commercial HVAC Installer, you will take ownership of commercial and light residential installations, overhauls, and retrofits across the Yellowstone region.
Lead Complex Installs: Install, align, and commission commercial heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems—including chillers, heat pumps, boilers, hydronic heating loops, and rooftop units.
Troubleshoot & Diagnose: Handle high-level mechanical, control, and electrical diagnostics on both scheduled projects and complex service overhauls.
Blueprint Execution: Read and execute blueprints, piping schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications with precision.
Quality Assurance: Ensure every job meets strict local codes, safety guidelines, and our internal standard of clean, high-grade craftsmanship.
On-Site Leadership: Guide junior installers on site, coordinate with facility directors, and represent Glacier HVAC/R with professionalism.
Qualifications:
Licensure: Journeyman HVAC License preferred (or equivalent proven master-level field experience).
Experience: 3 years of hands-on commercial HVAC/R installation and service experience.
Equipment Mastery: Demonstrated proficiency in boilers, hydronic heating loops, commercial chillers, and heat pumps.
Certifications: EPA Universal Certification required; valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Mindset: Self-motivated problem-solver who takes genuine pride in clean piping, proper commissioning, and quality work.
Physical Capability: Ability to lift 75 lbs and navigate rooftops, mechanical rooms, and crawlspaces across changing seasonal weather.
