Glacier Health and Development Center offers outpatient counseling, coaching, and program development support to diverse clients. It also conducts psychological research to improve mental health services nationally and abroad. Job Summary:
The psychotherapist will conduct their work hybrid, providing in-person or virtual therapy services through the AdvanceMD EHR system. Full-time employees will receive hourly compensation for a standard 40-hour workweek, with a maximum of 32 direct service hours per week. Full-time positions entail carrying between 28 and 32 direct client hours per week and an additional 8 to 15 hours dedicated to administrative duties such as supervision, care coordination, and other related tasks. Part-time staff will carry 12 direct service hours weekly, with regular supervision and behavioral health integration services being required for each case.
GHDC is committed to supporting full-time and part-time workers in establishing manageable caseloads. Employees will be encouraged to prioritize maintaining a healthy work-life balance while delivering effective and efficient services. At times, exceptions to the productivity minimums and maximums may be created to allow space for interested staff to provide groups, training, or other services not specified within their primary roles and responsibilities.
This intensive position encompasses all responsibilities inherent to outpatient psychotherapy involving clients with various mental health conditions. While Glacier Health does not offer crisis services, employees must engage in crisis prevention planning, self-directed case management, and other independent practices. Supervision is available throughout the care delivery process; however, individuals are encouraged to apply only if they possess the necessary skills and developmental capacity to work autonomously across low and high-intensity cases.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Review and process intake forms for new and continuing clients
- Complete comprehensive evaluation for new and continuing clients
- Provide psychotherapy for a minimum number of contact hours per week
- Complete progress notes within 24 hours of all service
- Provide monthly behavioral health integration services for all cases
- Provide quarterly treatment plan reviews for all cases
- Ability to provide counseling in the office and remotely
- Provides group psychotherapy where appropriate
Qualifications & Skills:
- Resident in Counseling or Licensed Professional Counselor
- Must have experience working with diverse populations
- Must have high-speed internet access for work from home
- Must have HIPAA-protected space to use for virtual sessions
- Must be comfortable working remotely and seeing clients via telehealth
- Bust be able to commute to work
- Must be able to pass applicable background screenings
