- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill and sauté stations, adhering to strict food safety protocols.
- Assist in menu planning by suggesting new dishes or modifications based on ingredient availability and customer preferences.
- Monitor food inventory levels, report shortages, and assist with stock rotation to minimize waste.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders while maintaining high standards of food quality.
- Support catering events or special functions by preparing large quantities of grilled or sautéed dishes as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles within a restaurant or food service environment.
- Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques specific to grilling and sautéing.
- Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices aligned with industry regulations.
- Experience working in fine dining settings or catering environments is highly desirable.
