Our Company’s culture supports customers in achieving their financial goals and dreams. The Loan Support Specialist position is a back office position with minimal customer contact. This position will perform a variety of clerical duties related to the booking and documentation of loans, such as scanning, filing and reviewing loan input and documentation of required loan documents. This position requires a person that is detail oriented. You’ll be able to help contribute to this by:
Job Duties:
- Work with new loans from the previous day and review for proper documentation and other relevant data.
- Input all automated payments.
- Utilize exception tracking software to document loans and input expiration dates on time sensitive documents such as financial statements and insurance policies.
- Input to online tax service site all new real estate loans.
- Review real estate insurance policy exceptions and force place insurance through online website as needed.
- Performs UCC searches and prepares all state filing UCC’s.
- Reconcile and balance multiple general ledger accounts related to the lending junction.
- Perform other tasks, which may be assigned by the department manager.
- Complying with privacy policies and procedures to maintain customer confidentiality and information protection.
- Complying with all federal, state and local regulatory rules and regulations governing financial institutions, as well as all company policies and procedures.
- Completing and passing all required regulatory compliance training as assigned.
- Perform any additional duties and tasks assigned by management.

Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong organizational skills, ability to work as part of a team.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel and Word.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- College degree- preferred
- Minimum 6 months previous banking or general accounting experience- required
Schedule: Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm with a 1-hour lunch break.

Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation/inspection of machines and/or using measurement devices at distances close to the eyes.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Starting salary is dependent upon relevant experience and may vary based on the geographic location of the position.
