What are the responsibilities and job description for the Meta Ad Specialist (Facebook/Instagram Ads) position at Glacial Multimedia, Inc.?
Meta Ads Specialist
Glacial is a digital marketing and web development agency serving elective medical practices nationwide. We're looking for someone who knows Meta advertising inside and out: someone who can build a campaign from scratch, can setup and configure Meta forms, and can spot the audience or creative that's quietly driving results.
Day to day you'll be managing client campaigns across Facebook and Instagram, from campaign setup and audience targeting to lead form configuration and creative testing, all in service of one thing: lead generation for the client.
Whether you're early in your career or a seasoned pro with 5 years under your belt, there's a place for you here. If you're on the newer side, we're looking for real hands-on Meta experience and the drive to keep getting better. We won't be teaching the basics from square one, but we'll give you room to grow. If you've been at this a while, we want your expertise, your instincts, and your ideas for making our campaigns even stronger. Either way, you'll take ownership of accounts and make decisions the data supports.
While the day to day will vary, you'll work on things like:
- Building and launching Meta campaigns, including campaign structure, budgets, audiences, placements, and optimization settings.
- Setting up and configuring Meta Instant Forms (lead forms) so the right leads come through with the right information.
- Testing and iterating on ad creative and copy to find what actually converts.
- Monitoring performance, digging into the data, and making the adjustments it tells you to make.
- Managing Business Manager access, Pages, pixels, and account permissions, and troubleshooting when things go sideways.
- Getting on calls with clients, whether that's walking them through access and setup issues or leading monthly reporting calls to review performance, share wins, and talk through what's next.
- Working closely with the rest of the team to hit client goals and deadlines.
- Keeping a pulse on what's changing with Meta (new features, policy updates, best practices) and bringing it back to the work.
Requirements:
- 1 years managing Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ad campaigns. Do not apply if you've never run Meta ads.
- Hands-on experience setting up campaigns and configuring Meta lead forms.
- Self-motivated and organized. You manage your own workload and don't need to be micromanaged.
- Sharp attention to detail. Typos and sloppy math don't work here.
- Comfortable juggling multiple clients and deadlines at once in a close-knit team.
- Creative yet analytical.
- Confident on Zoom or the phone with clients, whether troubleshooting an access issue or presenting a monthly report.
- Fluent, polished, professional English communication, spoken and written.
Preferred:
- Experience with other paid social or digital ad platforms (TikTok, Google Ads, etc.).
- Familiarity with Meta's advertising policies around health and medical services.
- Familiarity with medical or medical office terminology.
- A sense of humor.
This is a full-time role, 40 hours a week, based in our Portland, Maine office.
We offer a stable work environment with benefits including health insurance and an excellent 401k program. If you're obsessed with Meta, self-driven, and want to be part of a team that's always chasing better performance, we'd love to hear from you.
