Position Summary
Production Scheduling, Tracking orders and expediting product.
Position Responsibilities
· Coordinates the scheduling of production work orders to determine impact on production planning.
· Creates shop travelers for each shop order.
· Daily reports including Flash, Finishing and on time production.
· Enters Sales Orders and creates Work Orders.
· Plan equipment to meet production schedule.
· Work with Purchasing to ensure receipt of needed materials for production schedule.
· Tracking orders to ensure proper impact on delivery schedule.
· Works directly with production control supervisor to help move product and understand production constraints on schedule/expediting efforts.
· Handling expedited orders to ensure timely and/or prioritized movement through production system.
· Understands Exact business software solutions & services (i.e. creating work orders), order entry, Bartender software, Inventory labels, UPS World Ship, Receiving and pallet scale.
· Performs other duties and assumes accountabilities as apparent or as delegated.
Position Requirements
College Degree or 2-3 years manufacturing experience support role. Excellent knowledge of Excel spreadsheets.
Experience
Experience in scheduling function in manufacturing environment. Knowledge of computers, spreadsheets and database software. Effective oral and written communication required. Analytical, problem solving, negotiating and finance skills are important.
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
