Position Summary
The Project Coordinator will support the execution of projects from initiation through completion. Working under the Senior Project Manager, this role ensures projects stay on schedule, within budget, and aligned with organizational objectives. Responsibilities include developing milestone schedules, preparing project estimates, monitoring expenditures, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and preparing technical summary reports. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of pre-employment requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and track project activities from start to finish.
Create milestone schedules and accurate project cost estimates.
Monitor project expenditures and support budget management.
Prepare technical reports and project updates for management.
Maintain effective communication with internal departments and external vendors, contractors, and partners.
Foster collaboration across commodities, finance, operations, EHS, and other departments.
Promote GLEโs mission, vision, and values while demonstrating professionalism and integrity.
Address conflicts constructively, contributing to a positive team environment.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Associate degree or higher in Engineering, IT, Business, or a related field with a focus in Construction or Project Management preferred.
Skills & Competencies
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Professional communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and with external partners.
Understanding of construction and/or project management concepts.
Proficiency with project management tools and software.
Familiarity with AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
