About the Position: This position is with the Joint Munitions Command located at Crane Army Ammunition Activity. This position serves as Quality Assurance Specialist (Materials and Processes), responsible for performing staff surveillance of the Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) program operation.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) performing routine inspections and applying standard Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods such as Liquid Penetrant and Magnetic Particle Testing to evaluate materials and components for defects; 2) coordinating with production, engineering, and quality assurance personnel to schedule and conduct inspections; AND 3) collecting and analyzing test data, identifying non-coformities, and assisting in the development of corrective actions in accordance with established guidelines and policies. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-02).
