Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes

Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M. [remove LL.M., if unrelated] with a major study in quality assurance, statistics, mathematics, production management, industrial management, computer science, engineering, engineering technology, physical sciences, textiles, or other fields related to the position.

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages

- Apply and managing the complete product quality evaluation program for items which are stored, fabricated, and processed at production assembly lines and warehousing facilities;
- Interpret and apply technical data such as blueprints, product drawing, specifications, and technical manual to prepare reports; and
- Analyze quality data to detect unsatisfactory trends in the inspection process.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).
