About the Position: This position functions as the first layer of defense in a security-in-depth concept to deter, detect, delay, assess, respond, and document unauthorized access to Army installations restricted to the general public.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes:
- Operate communication devices to pass and receive clear-cut information;
- Patrol a designated area to prevent theft of damage of property; or
- Control personnel access by monitoring the identification of individuals entering.
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone -- no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
