Position Summary:
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to support our production and compounding operations by ensuring products meet internal quality standards and comply with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). This role is ideal for detail-oriented individuals with strong organizational and communication skills who thrive in a regulated, team-driven environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform QA inspections throughout the compounding and production processes.
- Approve pre-startup activities including equipment checks and line/room clearances.
- Review in-process batch records for accuracy and adherence to cGMP, SOPs, and product specifications.
- Verify logbooks are complete and compliant.
- Provide real-time guidance and feedback to production staff on quality and compliance.
- Monitor assigned areas to ensure safety and report any unsafe practices to QA management.
- Communicate inspection failures, deviations, and non-conformances to QA Management.
- Collaborate effectively with compounding and production teams.
- Assist in other QA-related tasks and process improvement projects as assigned.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Uphold strong attendance and work ethic.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a QA role, preferably in an FDA-regulated environment.
- Strong understanding of cGMP and SOP compliance.
- Exceptional attention to detail and dedication to quality.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in recordkeeping and documentation practices.
- Strong math and problem-solving skills.
