Quality Control Inspector I
Location: Orlando, FL (On-site)

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join a growing manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting incoming materials, work-in-process, and finished products to ensure they meet engineering specifications and quality standards.
The ideal candidate has experience performing dimensional and visual inspections in a manufacturing environment and is comfortable using precision measuring instruments.
Responsibilities
- Perform incoming, in-process, final, and pre-shipment inspections.
- Conduct dimensional and visual inspections of manufactured parts and assemblies using engineering drawings and specifications.
- Use precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread gauges, pin gauges, and Go/No-Go gauges.
- Verify product conformity and identify non-conforming materials or components.
- Accurately document inspection results and maintain quality records.
- Assist with documenting rework and rejected materials.
- Maintain inspection reports and data within company systems.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
- Follow established quality procedures and manufacturing standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1–3 years of Quality Control Inspection experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Experience inspecting electronic or precision mechanical components is highly preferred.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and inspection documentation.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments, including:
- Calipers
- Micrometers
- Height Gauges
- Thread and Pin Gauges
- Go/No-Go Gauges
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in an ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 certified manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of IPC-A-610 and/or IPC-J-STD-001 standards.
- Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
- Experience using inspection equipment such as optical measurement systems or XRF instruments is a plus.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to lift light materials as needed.
- Must be able to work on-site in Orlando, FL.
- Must be eligible to work in positions involving export-controlled information in accordance with applicable U.S. regulations.
