We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Production Operator to support pharmaceutical manufacturing operations in an FDA-regulated environment. The ideal candidate will safely operate manufacturing equipment, accurately document production activities, and ensure all work is completed in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), SOPs, and company quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment following established procedures and batch records.
- Perform material dispensing, weighing, blending, filling, packaging, and other production activities as assigned.
- Complete production documentation accurately, including batch records and equipment logbooks.
- Perform line clearances and equipment setup before production runs.
- Monitor equipment and production processes to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Report equipment issues, deviations, or safety concerns to supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while following GMP, safety, and housekeeping standards.
- Wear required PPE and follow all safety procedures.
- Assist with equipment cleaning, changeovers, and preventive maintenance activities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous manufacturing or production experience required; pharmaceutical or FDA-regulated manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of cGMP and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) is preferred.
- Ability to read and follow SOPs, batch records, and work instructions.
- Basic computer skills for production documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Able to lift 50 pounds
