What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2nd shift MATERIAL HANDLER position at GKN Automotive?
- Have the ability to rotate between all Logistics jobs. These jobs are Material Handler, Receiver, Shipper, Stretch Wrap and miscellaneous i.e. Cycle Counter, Recyclables, Service Material Handler, Battery Maintenance. Etc.
- Be able to follow and apply the QS9000 procedures.
- Maintain inventory accuracy at cycle count level that is > 96%.
- Use a computer, bar scanning devices and associated equipment in a proficient manner.
- Maintain the assembly cell with delivering materials and removing finished goods in a timely manner.
- Receive and ship products on a correct and timely manner.
- Be proficient in operating all material handling equipment in a safe and expeditious manner.
- Have a working knowledge pf KANBAN.
Perform any other duties as specified by supervisor
