What You’ll Do
Strategic Leadership & Team Development
- Build and lead a high-performing Logistics team through coaching, goal setting, and talent development
- Foster a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Champion GKN Aerospace’s “Great Place to Work” values across all logistics and planning functions
- Lead all logistics operations: freight, inbound/outbound flows, and internal movements
- Manage distribution planning and constraints to support outbound logistics
- Interface with external freight carriers and facilitate deliveries with local stakeholders
- Monitor and analyze Logistics Costs.
- Reduce total logistics costs through process improvements and strategic initiatives
- Ensure compliance with GKN standards across people, processes, and tools
- 5 years of experience in logistics leadership, ideally in aerospace or advanced manufacturing
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Operations, or related field
- Deep expertise in ERP systems
- Strong business acumen and ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
- Proven track record of driving performance, reducing costs, and leading change
- US Person per ITAR regulations to comply with export compliance requirements.
- Practitioner-level expertise in Forecasting, Transport Management, Warehousing, and Lean/CI
- Background in Operations or Program Management
- ERP system mastery and experience leading digital transformation initiatives
