GK Visual is a full-service creative studio with 20 years of experience producing high-quality video, photography, and storytelling for brands, businesses, and organizations. We’re looking for a full-time Social Media Manager & Content Creator to help lead and grow our digital presence—both for GK Visual and select client projects.

This is a hybrid position, combining work-from-home flexibility with regular on-site production days and occasional travel.

Role Overview

The Social Media Manager & Content Creator will be responsible for planning, creating, managing, and publishing engaging content across multiple platforms. This role blends strategy, creativity, and execution, and is ideal for someone who takes initiative, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can juggle multiple projects at once.

You’ll work both independently and collaboratively with the GK Visual team to bring ideas to life—from concept to capture to post.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and execute social media strategy across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.)

• Create original content including short-form video, photography, captions, and stories

• Assist with on-site video and photo shoots for GK Visual and client projects

• Edit and package content for social media delivery

• Schedule posts, monitor engagement, and respond as appropriate

• Maintain consistent brand voice and visual standards

• Coordinate content calendars and manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Collaborate with the GK Visual team on campaigns, launches, and storytelling ideas

• Travel occasionally for shoots, events, or client work

• Stay current with social media trends, platform updates, and best practices

Ideal Candidate

• Has experience managing social media for brands or businesses

• Strong photography and/or videography skills (professional or advanced amateur level)

• Comfortable shooting and editing content (camera, phone, or both)

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail

• Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines without constant oversight

• Takes initiative, brings ideas to the table, and problem-solves independently

• Works well both solo and as part of a creative team

• Excellent written communication and storytelling skills

• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment and traveling as needed
