Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Cashier to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for taking orders, handling cash transactions, and ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests. Previous experience in food preparation, POS systems, and food safety is preferred. Responsibilities
- Take customer orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems
- Handle cash and process payments efficiently and accurately
- Assist with food preparation and food handling to ensure quality standards are met
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and courteously
- Upsell menu items to enhance sales and improve guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness of dining area, including bussing tables and sanitation practices
- Ensure food safety standards are followed at all times
- Support kitchen staff with basic prep work when needed
- Manage time effectively during busy service hours to serve guests promptly
- Follow sanitation guidelines to uphold health regulations and cleanliness standards
Experience
- Prior experience in food service, quick service, or fast-food restaurant environments preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Experience in cashiering, food handling, and customer service roles required
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and basic math skills for retail or restaurant settings preferred
- Previous work in cafes, grocery stores, or retail environments involving serving or cashiering is advantageous
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a friendly attitude in a fast-paced setting
Pay: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour
