We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Painter to join our dynamic construction and renovation team. Duties

• Prepare surfaces meticulously by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality.
• Execute a variety of painting tasks including residential, commercial, industrial, and construction site painting using hand tools and power tools such as airless paint sprayers.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately determine project scope and specifications.
• Apply finishing techniques like trim carpentry, stucco application, masonry work, and fixture installation to achieve polished results.
• Perform restoration and renovation work by repairing damaged surfaces, framing, drywall installation, and plastering.
• Utilize construction estimating skills to assess project requirements and materials needed for efficient job completion.
• Maintain safety standards on-site by using appropriate personal protective equipment and adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members including carpenters, masons, and maintenance person professionals to ensure seamless project execution.
• Operate various hand tools such as brushes, rollers, scrapers, sanders, as well as power tools like drills and welding equipment for specialized tasks.
• Conduct quality inspections throughout the project to ensure finishes meet company standards and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction painting with a strong understanding of both residential and commercial projects.
• Knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
• Skilled in surface preparation techniques including plastering, caulking, stucco application, masonry work, and concrete finishing.
• Familiarity with industrial painting processes and the use of airless paint spraying equipment.
• Hands-on experience with carpentry (trim framing), renovation projects, fixture installation, restoration work, and maintenance tasks.
• Ability to operate hand tools such as brushes, rollers, scrapers; power tools including drills; welding equipment; and scaffolding or lift systems safely.
• Strong understanding of color theory for effective color matching and aesthetic consistency across projects.
• Construction site experience with knowledge of safety protocols in dynamic environments.
• Excellent communication skills for reading schematics or blueprints accurately and collaborating effectively with team members.
