Description
GK Development is seeking a Full-Time Housekeeper to perform routine cleaning tasks of the mall both inside and outside under general supervision. This position is crucial in providing a safe and clean environment at the Peru Mall.
This position will be 40 hours per week. 1:00pm to 9:30pm Monday through Friday
Key Responsibilities:
· Day to day responsibility for cleanliness of property.
· Cleaning restrooms.
· Empty interior and exterior trash containers.
· Maintaining cleanliness of common areas throughout the mall.
· Maintain entrance cleanliness.
· Moving and assisting in setting up seasonal decorations.
· Comfortable with securing and unsecuring the building.
· Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
· One to three years’ experience in housekeeping/janitorial/groundskeeping experience.
· Use of basic housekeeping equipment.
· Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques.
· Must be able to prioritize workload and resolve issues.
· Must have good oral and written communication skills to coworkers and supervisors.
· Must be a self-starter and able to work independently.
· Ability to pass drug screening and full background check.
· 40 hours per week, days and time negotiable.
