What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cashier/Customer Service position at Giving Tree Topeka Inc?
Work in a FUN fast paced environment! We are a re-sale thrift store selling donated goods at a discount to the public.
Full or part time is welcome. Must be able to stand for entirety of shift.(Shifts are 10am - 6pm, 10am - 2pm or 2pm - 6pm). Store is open Tuesday - Saturday 10am -6pm.
MUST be extremely friendly and outgoing but able to focus and have an attention for detail. Cash handling experience required. Must make change accurately and efficiently and the ability to count back change is a must.
Square based point of sale system, touch screen typing required, decision making skills required for choosing what category an item belongs to when entering into system.
Responsible for greeting all customers, answering general item questions and wrapping, bagging items. Help with tasks as needed including cleaning of store.
