Job Overview

Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and encouraging atmosphere.
- Help clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety during movement.
- Monitor and report changes in client’s health status to healthcare professionals or family members.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Medication Reminders
- Engage in activities that promote physical and mental well-being tailored to the individual needs of each client.
Skills
- Experience in home community care settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with working with people with disabilities and understanding their unique needs.
- Knowledge of dementia care practices to effectively support clients experiencing cognitive decline.
- Proficiency in CPR techniques to ensure client safety in emergencies.
