We have been growing significantly over the last few years and continue to grow at a rapid pace.

We are looking for a Crate Builder to build crates and other wood packaging per customer specifications. If you have carpentry skills and are good with power tools, we want to meet you!

Responsibilities

• Building crates, skids and custom wood packaging products per customer specs.
• Assemble materials using pneumatic nail guns, screws, bolts, glue and various hand tools
• Placing product in wood container manually or using forklift or crane
• Bolting heavy machinery to bottom of box or skid
• Wrapping and padding product with foam, plastic and foil barriers
• Wrapping and tightening of metal or polyester bands around crate using banding equipment
• Attaching identification stencils or labels as required by customer
  
  

Requirements

• Must be able to read a tape measure
• Experience in manufacturing environment required
• Ability to operate saw, chop saw, drill press, band saw and nail guns
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and maintain strong attention to detail
• Quality control is a must
• Basic math skills required
• Must have a high sense of urgency and safety awareness
• Must be able to consistently lift up to 50lbs throughout the day
