We are looking for a full-time Administrative Assistant to provide administrative assistance and clerical support for the Givens Communities Administrative Office, and to help assure that the highest degree of service and quality care can be provided to our residents at all times. Reporting to the Executive Assistant, this position will be involved in planning, coordinating, and implementing administrative activities within Givens Communities. This position will be based at our Asheville campus, Givens Estates and will work Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 5pm.What you'll do:Provide administrative support to Manor Team by assisting with administrative and word processing needs including policies and procedures creation and edits, development of documents, written correspondence, forms development, spreadsheets, and data entryProvide administrative support to Executive Assistant for Board meetings, events, and other administrative duties as neededOrder and maintain office supplies for the suiteActively help keep the Administrative offices welcoming and inviting to guestsPick up, sort, and distribute mail to the administrative suite on a daily basisType and distribute minutes for meetings as necessaryRun errands on and off campus such as picking up meals, board gifts, getting signatures on documents, etcProvide support for CFO, VP of IT, HR, Health Informatics Director, Lead Financial Analyst through various assignments Perform any other duties and/or tasks that may be assigned on an as-needed basis by an authorized supervisorWhat you'll need:Helpful to have a minimum of a year in office environmentMust be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Outlook, ExcelMust have, as a minimum, a high school diploma or have obtained the GED equivalentMust possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such actionMust be able to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general publicCompensation for this position is $22.00 - $23.00 per hour, based on background and experience, plus our comprehensive benefits package Still curious about what Givens is all about?
