Givens Gerber Park is looking for a full-time Leasing Consultant to support our affordable community. This position's primary responsibility is to maintain a professional and friendly atmosphere while conducting all business ventures.
What you'll do:
- Answers incoming phone calls and handles each call accordingly, whether it is a prospect call, irate resident, service request, etc.
- Greets prospective residents, qualifies, determines needs and preferences, professionally, presents community and specific apartments while communicating features and benefits
- Prepares and qualifies applicants for Compliance approval
- Assists in developing market strategies and markets property as directed
- Correctly completes all lease applications, assists with application verification and notifies prospective residents of results
- Maintains and monitors affordable waiting lists according to policy
- Perform any other duties and/or tasks that may be assigned on an as-needed basis by an authorized supervisor
What you'll need:
- HUD/Tax Credit/Affordable Housing Certifications preferred
- Fair Housing and Section 504/ADA certification desired, or willing to obtain once hired
- Word Processing software experience required. Spreadsheet software, property management software, Internet experience desirable
- Capable of managing and prioritizing multiple tasks/responsibilities and working under pressure to meet deadlines
Compensation is $22.00 - $25.00 per hour based on background and experience, and includes our comprehensive benefits package
