Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Participate in developing and executing the Business Unit’s Key Performance Indicators and the company’s short-, mid-, and long-term plans.
- Accountable for Talent, Capabilities & Engagement for the Business Unit in collaboration with the shift Supervisor.
- Ensure company policies and procedures are followed and consistently applied in the area of scope & develop and implement activities to ensure Environmental Health and Safety, Quality, and legal standards are met.
- Oversee the Business Unit on Daily and Weekly Management Meetings, provide project updates, delegating tasks, and addressing countermeasures when applicable.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by communicating requests within 24 hours, troubleshooting problem orders, and following through from producing orders to shipping out the door & delegating tasks in accordance with production schedule and customer demands to maximum employee productivity.
- Demonstrate our Leadership competencies by creating a positive work environment and culture through administration of our People Processes and Tools.
- Completion of a college diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Previous experience providing leadership for HACCP/GMPs, Allergens and Health & Safety.
- Excellent knowledge of Food Safety, Statistical Process Control, Good Manufacturing Practices, Safe Quality Food, Hazard analysis and critical control points (HACCP), Allergens and Health & Safety
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written; strong listening skills)
- Strong judgement, analysis, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions
- Good ability to motivate and empower team members by providing feedback and recognition
- Strong ability to influence stakeholders and manage conflict
- Ability to prioritize demands and shift between conflicting priorities in a fast-paced work environment
- Strong computer skills, with familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
