Responsibilities
- Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to monitor activity and identify potential security threats.
- Manage access control by verifying credentials for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
- Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, assessing situations with professionalism and urgency.
- Enforce security protocols through conflict management techniques when necessary to de-escalate tense situations.
- Provide first aid or CPR in emergency situations until medical professionals arrive.
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during incidents requiring external intervention.
- Maintain detailed logs of patrols, incidents, and access records to ensure accurate documentation of all activities.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; willingness to obtain these certifications is a plus.
- Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and loss prevention strategies.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Familiarity with security procedures, including access control and emergency response protocols.
- Ability to work flexible hours on an on-call basis, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
