Senior Software Engineer

Duties:

• Develop and refine system and software architecture for scalable, maintainable, and secure solutions.
• Create detailed technical designs and documentation to guide development.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in applicable programming languages.
• Ensure that all software meets established standards and performance expectations.
• Perform unit, integration, and system testing.
• Identify and resolve software defects and performance bottlenecks.
• Manage deployment pipelines and assist with ongoing system maintenance and updates.
• Provide production support as needed.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership throughout the development lifecycle.
• Conduct code reviews and promote best practices across the engineering team.
• Work closely with project managers, QA testers, and product owners to align on priorities and deliverables.
• Participate in design and planning meetings to ensure alignment with business goals.
• Enforce coding standards, software design patterns, and modern development methodologies.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements and specifications.
• Prepare and maintain detailed documentation for code, APIs, and system processes.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies for project deliverables.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and assess their potential value to the company.
• Continuously improve software development processes for efficiency and quality.
• Contribute to long-term technical strategy and roadmap planning.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, Software Development, Information Technology Architecture or related field
• Minimum 5 years (60 months) of experience in software development

Salary: Not less than $173,618 per year
