Responsibilities
- Operate scanning equipment to convert physical books and documents into digital formats with accuracy and care
- Ensure proper handling of fragile or rare materials during the scanning process
- Maintain organized records of scanned items, including metadata and file naming conventions
- Perform quality checks on scanned images to confirm clarity and completeness
- Manage digital files by uploading, indexing, and filing them into appropriate databases or systems
- Assist with data entry tasks related to cataloging and indexing scanned materials
- Support the maintenance of office equipment and ensure a clean, organized workspace
Requirements
- Strong computer skills, including familiarity with databases, Microsoft Excel, and office software applications
- Experience with data entry, typing, transcription, and order entry processes
- Basic math skills for data verification and record keeping
- Prior clerical or administrative experience, especially in filing or data collection roles
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to handle delicate materials carefully and follow established procedures

- High Independent working- scanning is a solo person role working in a dim lit room
