Landlord- Tenant Paralegal

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Landlord-Tenant Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. In this vital role, you will support attorneys handling residential and commercial landlord-tenant disputes, and eviction proceedings.

You will prepare Rent Demands, non-payment, and holdover Petitions.

The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and passionate about delivering exceptional legal support.

• Assist attorneys with all aspects of landlord-tenant law cases, including drafting pleadings, notices, and legal correspondence.
• Review and analyze legal documents such as leases, eviction notices, court filings, and affidavits for accuracy and compliance.
• Support attorneys in court filings, scheduling hearings, and coordinating with court personnel
• Maintain detailed project management logs to track case progress and deadlines.
• Provide clerical support such as filing documents electronically.
• Paralegal certification or equivalent experience in a law office setting with a focus on landlord-tenant law
• Proven experience with legal research platforms such as Westlaw or LexisNexis
• Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law principles, eviction procedures, lease agreements, and related regulations
• Familiarity with legal case management software including iManage and PCLaw
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously under tight deadlines
• Effective interviewing skills to gather detailed client information accurately
• Proficiency in document review, drafting legal correspondence, proofreading for accuracy, and transcribing notes
• Supporting litigation processes from initial filing through court appearance,
• Strong written communication skills with an emphasis on clarity and precision
• Outstanding phone etiquette coupled with professional demeanor in client interactions

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $45, $70,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
