Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Technical Support Specialist at GIT America, Inc. The Technical Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective customer support.
Position: Technical Support Specialist
Salary Range: $50,000~$60,000 a year
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general computer applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with vehicle diagnostic systems and scan tool devices.
- Knowledge of Hyundai and Kia vehicle systems and diagnostic procedures.
- Fluency in Spanish and/or French.
Physical Requirements
- Standard office work environment.
- Occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support by phone for diagnostic and inspection systems used by dealers, ports, and factories in the Americas
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to diagnostic systems and scan tool devices assisting automotive technicians and mechanics across the Americas
- Respond to service and repair requests
- Verify and maintain an accurate record of all items and parts used to repair, replace and maintain products
- Communicate with customers and HQ regarding repairs and payments
- Provide technical support and training to dealer technicians and mechanics on the use of scan tool devices
- Support diagnostic system testing for the development of Hyundai and Kia vehicles, ensuring functionality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
