Position Summary:
The Project Associate supports Engineering teams in project administration, coordination of activities with discipline leads, document formatting and control, general office support tasks, ensuring teams are sufficiently organized and maintain operational practices and consistency for the client. Other support efforts may include handling details related to conducting research, drafting reports, keeping project management tracking systems updated, fielding calls and managing correspondence from project team members. Project assistants work in concert with project managers and other assistants to ensure smooth and timely project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
· Providing support to projects implementation, guaranteeing quality, efficiency and effectiveness
· Provides administrative and operation support on implementation of project
· Assist in projects financial resources management, Human Resources Management, efficient procurement and logistical services
· Support to follow-up on project auditing issues
· Follow-up, daily, with project team, to guarantee smooth implementation of administrative and operational activities of the project
· Maintain up-to-date files and records of project documentation
· Supporting planning, monitoring and evaluation activities of the project, in articulation with the Project Manager
· Support the timely preparation and submission of progress reports, project reviews, financial reports and any other required project reports
Qualifications:
- Education: High School diploma with relevant experience
- Experience: Relevant administrative office experience required. Must be able to multitask, manage schedules, and communicate with peers and professionals.
- Skills:
- Proficient with MS Word and Excel software
- Knowledge of civil/structural engineering principles, terminology and concepts, as well as industry codes &standards
- Ability to effectively communicate with peers, co-workers, clients, customer, and the general public.
