This is a full-time, on-site role for a Director of Development, located in Birmingham, AL. The Director of Development will be responsible for creating and executing fundraising strategies, managing planned and annual giving, overseeing philanthropic efforts, and budgeting. Additional responsibilities include engaging with donors, coordinating with internal teams, and driving initiatives to secure funding to support Girls Inc. of Central Alabama's mission.
- Experience in Planned Giving and Annual Giving
- Proven track record in Fundraising and Philanthropy
- Strong Budgeting skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Experience with donor management systems and fundraising platforms
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Nonprofit Management, or a related field
- Knowledge of the Birmingham philanthropic landscape is a plus
