Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Salon Manager to lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of our salon. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the beauty industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a strong focus on customer service. You must have worked at a salon front desk with a booking system and have held a Management Position. As the Salon Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and enhancing the overall client experience.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and motivate salon staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Assist in recruiting, training, and onboarding new team members.
- Oversee inventory management, including stock ordering and organization.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon environment.
- Implement retail math strategies to maximize sales and profitability.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
- Understand that if a co-worker at the front desk calls in, it is your responsibility to get coverage and if no one is available, you are working. If a service provider calls off, try and get coverage, otherwise you are moving clients to another day.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Salon Manager or in a similar supervisory role within the beauty industry.
- Must have worked 2 years at a salon front desk, booking, monitoring and adjusting client appointments to ensure an organized and effective schedule.
- Must have held a Management position for over 2 years.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management practices.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building client relationships.
- Ability to recruit, train, and develop staff effectively.
- Proficiency in retail math to analyze sales performance.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends as needed.
