Experience with children is preferred. Come work with our campers at Camp Edey in Bayport, NY. We offer programs for girls ages 5-15, in the summer of 2024, including a sleepaway camp experience.
Summer Camp 2024
Camp Edey is located on 95 acres on the beautiful San Souci lakes in Bayport and has been home to amazing Girl Scout outdoor experiences for over 75 years. Our camp has two pools, an archery range, a gaga ball pit, a disc golf course, hiking trails, and a frog-friendly pond. Our summer camp program includes things our girls love-like scavenger hunts, outdoor sports, unique weekly themes, and STEM Art activities in a safe and fun environment that fosters her sense of adventure.
- Dates: July 1-August 30, 2024, 9 Weekly Sessions (Week 1 is 4-days only due to Independence Day)
- Camp Hours: 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Our camp services girls entering in grades 1-9 in Fall 2024

Job Description
Overnight Assistant Camp Director Responsibilities include session scheduling, staff scheduling, check-in and out procedures, nighttime routines, and program facilitation to ensure the highest quality experience for each camper. The role will also require an overnight stay in sleeping quarters for on-call supervisory responses between 11:00 pm - 8:00 am. Any work performed between these hours will be compensated at the weekly rate. 2 Meals are included (Dinner & Breakfast as well as accommodations in a private cabin).
Schedule:

Monday check in 8:30AM-9:30AM to meet new campers and their parents.

Monday - Thursday 3PM-8AM
Dates: July 8 - August 23
Salary: $700 per week
Requirements:
- Must be 21 years or older
- Bachelors (preferred)
- At least 2 years of working with children (preferred)
- At least 6 months of administrative or supervising experience
- A valid driver license
