We are looking for team members who are level-headed in all situations, cooperative with fellow team members, and enthusiastic about working with children and young adults in an active indoor/outdoor camp environment.

Experience with children is preferred. Come work with our campers at Camp Edey in Bayport, NY. We offer programs for girls ages 5-15, including a sleepaway camp experience.

Summer Camp 2024

Camp Edey is located on 95 acres on the beautiful San Souci lakes in Bayport and has been home to amazing Girl Scout outdoor experiences for over 75 years. Our camp has two pools, an archery range, a gaga ball pit, a disc golf course, hiking trails, and a frog-friendly pond. Our summer camp program includes things our girls love-like scavenger hunts, outdoor sports, unique weekly themes, and STEM Art activities in a safe and fun environment that fosters her sense of adventure.

• Dates: July 1-August 30, 2024, 9 Weekly Sessions (Week 1 is 4-days only due to Independence Day)
• Hours: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
• For Girls Only, Grades 1-9 in Fall 2024

*Team Training will be from Tuesday, June 25- Friday, June 28, 2024,*

Job Description

The EMT/Health Supervisor will manage the Health Center records for the day camp facilities. In addition, they support campers and staff with illnesses, injuries, and medicine distribution.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, responsible, and reliable professional who loves working with children and want to experience summer camp life.

Health Supervisor Qualifications:

• 21 years of age
• Nurse practitioner, Registered nurse, Licensed practical nurse, or Emergency Medical Technician.
• Current American Red Cross Responding to Emergencies Certificate.
• Current American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer Cert, at most one year in duration.
• Possess strong organizational, communication, and decision makings- skills while exercising good judgment.
• Valid driver's license.
