You’ll represent the Girl Scout Movement in Cochise, Graham, and Greenlee counties, growing our membership, supporting volunteers, and ensuring girls across our communities have access to transformative experiences. No two days are the same—you might be presenting at a school, mentoring a new troop leader, hosting a community event, or running a hands-on STEM program.If you're passionate about youth development, thrive in a flexible environment, and want your work to matter—this is the job for you.
What You’ll Do:
- Recruit new Girl Scouts and volunteers through school visits and community outreach
- Build strong relationships with families, schools, and local partners
- Support new troop leaders with training and mentorship
- Lead fun, mission-aligned programs in life skills, STEM, outdoors, and entrepreneurship
- Operate the Council’s regional retail shop, providing excellent customer service to members and the public.
- Promote Girl Scout visibility at events, fairs, and networking engagements
- Track your work in our database and contribute to council-wide initiatives

- 2 years in community outreach, youth programming, or volunteer support
- Creative and enthusiastic about empowering youth and serving diverse communities.
- A natural connector and communicator who thrives on meeting new people.
- A proactive self-starter who can manage your time and workload independently.
- Availability for some evenings/weekends and regular travel within region
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience; bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Qualifications
Qualifications & Competencies
- Associates degree or equivalent work experience.
- 2 years in community engagement, sales, recruiting, youth programming, or volunteer management.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
- Commitment to the Girl Scout mission; prior Girl Scout experience welcome but not required.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills with individuals and groups.
- Highly organized, goal-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects with adaptability and sound judgment.
- Tech-savvy and proficient with databases, online tools, and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly desirable, but not required.
- Flexible schedule with ability to work evenings and weekends
- Must pass background check/fingerprint clearance and maintain reliable transportation (with required licensing and insurance); ability to lift up to 25 lbs. regularly.
Salary : $18 - $20
