Position Summary
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor. Primary responsibility is general cleaning of office spaces and building on the property
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Other duties may include general cleaning of the building and keeping it maintained.
- Trash removal, refilling paper goods, vacuum, sweep, mop floors, stock restrooms, clean windows.
- Miscellaneous repairs and maintenance, ensure the doors are locked after hours.
- Other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Must be flexible, adaptable, and willing to thrive in an ever-changing/fast-paced environment.
- Ability to be standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.
- Ability to travel via personal vehicle or public transportation to various facilities throughout the region.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Able to perform this job safely, without endangering the health or safety of themself or others.
Recommended Education, Training and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar environment is preferred.
GSGLA Employee Requirements
- Comply with state-mandated reporter training
- Attend GSGLA signature events and/or other activities as assigned
