It's Cookie Season at Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta!!
The Product Programs Department at GSGATL is looking for Temporary Full-Time help at multiple Cookie Cupboard locations. The Cupboard Lead/Clerk will provide assistance to volunteers picking up cookies, maintaining inventory records, processing cookie orders from troops, and keeping Product Program staff informed daily of any issues with inventory, product, or volunteers. (Cupboard Locations: Atlanta, northwest metro area and Ellijay)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform physical count of cookie inventory at opening and closing of the cupboard.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by following the eBudde pending transactions process.
- Balance cookie pick-up reports daily with cookie inventory in the cupboard.
- Distribute cookies to troops and assist volunteers with the loading of vehicles.
- Accept and verify delivery of additional cookie inventory to assigned location.
- Greet volunteers pleasantly and ensure following the Cookie Pick up the process as explained in the Cupboard Managers Manual.
- Follow Safety Guidelines and protocols established by GSGATL
- Refer volunteers to helpline@gsgatl.org for questions.
Qualifications
- Basic computer skills and ability to count precisely.
- Good customer service.
- Ability to communicate effectively with volunteers in English.
- Required frequently: standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, bending, reaching, and working in hot or cold temperatures.
- Must be able to work Monday-Saturday (9 am-5 pm or 10 am-6 pm & Saturday Mornings). The schedule may vary based on location.
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
- Must be able to complete and clear a Criminal Background Check.
