Job Overview
The Leadership Supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our camps by overseeing and supporting the lead counselors, cabin counselors, and Counselor-in-Trainees. This position is responsible for guiding, counseling, and supporting all staff, campers, and CITs in daily living, camp activities, and staff/camper interactions to achieve camp goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision and Support: Supervise and support the lead counselors, cabin counselors, and CITs in their roles and responsibilities.
- Camp Activities: Assist in planning and implementing program activities for campers and CITs during overnight, troop day, and family camp sessions.
- Camper Leadership and Supervision: Provide support and assistance to counseling staff in supervising and counseling campers during overnight camp sessions.
- Staff Leadership and Supervision: Provide training, support, evaluation, and supervision to counseling staff while encouraging autonomous decision-making without supervisor approval.
